Trademarks, Patents, and Royalties
Do you have trademarks or patents on your RM dahlias?
No, we do not hold any trademarks or patents on our RM dahlias, nor do we have plans to implement any changes to their sale conditions now or in the foreseeable future.
Do you require royalty payments on the sale of RM dahlias?
No, we do not require royalty payment on the sale of RM dahlias. While we deeply appreciate those who choose to provide voluntary royalties to support our hybridizing efforts, there are no formal agreements or obligations in place.
What are RM dahlias?
RM dahlias are unique varieties that have been hybridized at our farm. The "RM" stands for River Merle, our farm's name. All dahlias that we have hybridized and released will feature the RM prefix, signifying their origin and quality.
Orders
Why do you limit the number of tubers for purchase on some cultivars?
We limit the purchase quantity on some of the very highly sought after varieties or new introductions for the following reasons:
- To ensure more customers can access and enjoy our RM dahlias.
- To promote fairness in distribution among our customer base.
- To help manage demand effectively.
Will you do collections of all your newly released cultivars?
Currently, we do not provide collections of our new releases. Many of these cultivars tend to sell out quickly, and our aim is to ensure that as many customers as possible can purchase at least one RM dahlia. We appreciate the interest in bundled collections and are considering offering them in the future. As we continue to expand our hybridizing efforts and introduce new varieties each year, we hope to provide more options for our customers.
I placed multiple tuber orders; will you combine my orders and refund my shipping costs?
Unfortunately, due to logistics and the anticipated volume of orders this year, we are unable to guarantee the combination of orders or shipping refunds. However, please refer to the question below for information on adding tubers to existing orders, which may provide you with a more flexible option. Thank you for your understanding!
Can I add tubers onto my order after I have placed it?
Yes, you may be able to add tubers to your existing order. In previous years, we’ve provided promotions that allow customers to include additional tubers after placing an order. While we anticipate offering this option again, it will not be available until at least one week after our sale opens. There’s no need to place a separate order for this. Stay tuned for more information by subscribing to our email list and following us on Instagram.
Can you ship my order early?
Orders will begin shipping in mid March and we will ship throughout the month of April. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate early shipping requests.
Do you ship to Canada or outside of the United States?
No. We only ship tubers within the United States.
Gift Cards
Do you sell gift cards?
No, we do not offer gift cards at this time. Our tubers tend to sell out quickly when our online store launches, and we wouldn’t want to disappoint anyone by running out of stock before they could redeem a gift card.
International Shipping
Do you ship to Canada or outside of the United States?
No, we only ship dahlia tubers within the United States.
